The Russian government is backing the construction of a new tyre plant in the country’s eastern region. The Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation has partnered with Vladivostok-based Vlad-Garant to establish a tyre manufacturing facility in Primorsky Krai, near the borders of China and North Korea. The project is expected to attract investments totaling 10 billion roubles (£84.0 million) and create 134 new jobs. The plant is anticipated to be operational by 2027.
